Using Hyperterminal With Rs232
Hi Milovisk, I understand. The company that I work for () sells serial to Ethernet devices. We have one Ethernet device that has 2 serial ports. Using this device it is easily possible to plug (A) to etherpad-COM1 -- bind etherpad-COM1 to etherpad-COM2 and plus (B) into etherpad-COM2, as such the Etherpad acts as a bridge between (A) and (B) + with the ability to output data from its ports to a network stream. You can either telnet into the port on the Etherpad to view what is being sent/received from (A) and (B), or optionally use our serial-redirector which creates a virtual serial port on your laptop/computer with which you can connect HyperTerminal to log received data. In practice this solution is quite common with our customers. The last price I have is $215USD for a PocketPAD 2 rs232.
